Giant Boar

The Giant Boar is a wall of muscle, bristle, and tusk that crashes through the undergrowth of the Silverwood and the southern forests with no plan more complex than to run down whatever has annoyed it. It is enormously strong, absurdly stubborn, and effectively impossible to turn once it has begun a charge; hunters take it from cover or from trees, never head-on. Its tusks have gored more confident young adventurers than any wolf, precisely because a boar looks, right up until the charge, like nothing to fear.
