Giant Centipede

The Giant Centipede is a thing of pure revulsion: a segmented horror as long as a tall man, flowing over wall and ceiling on a hundred legs, its forelimbs tipped with venom-dripping fangs. It infests the Ashen Marsh and the damp lower halls of ruins, and it moves with a horrible boneless speed. Its venom does not kill quickly, but it burns like fire and weakens the limbs, and a victim slowed by it is a victim the centipede can take at leisure.
