Giant Frog

The Giant Frog squats in the reeds of marsh and pond, the size of a large hound, near-invisible until it moves. It hunts by patience and ambush, sitting motionless until something passes within reach of its long tongue, then striking with a speed that belies its bulk. Larger specimens have been known to swallow a Halfling whole, an indignity the small folk of the marshes speak of in hushed tones.
