Giant Snake

The Giant Snake is a constrictor grown to nightmare length, long enough to loop a man twice and crush the breath from him before he can cry out. It haunts the warm marshes and the overgrown ruins of the south, hanging from branch and rafter, dropping on what passes below. It is not venomous - it does not need to be. Death by Giant Snake is a slow and silent business, and the snake is in no hurry.
