The Lorekeeper's Tome

Brindleford is a market town of perhaps a few hundred souls, built where two old roads cross near a ford on the Brindle. It has an inn, a smithy, a shrine to the Radiant Flame, and the ordinary business of a place that has survived by minding its own. Travellers rest here, buy what they can afford, and trade rumours about the tower on the hill. For an adventuring party it is the first place that feels like ground to stand on: a town means a bed, a save, and a trainer or two.
