Stone Giant

The Stone Giant is a giant of the high cliffs and stony heights, grey-skinned and reclusive, far less aggressive than the brutish Hill Giant but far more dangerous when roused. They are master throwers, hurling boulders with an accuracy and force that can pluck a climber from a cliff-face at a stunning distance, and they guard their high territories with a patient, deadly jealousy. A Stone Giant left alone will usually leave a party alone; a Stone Giant provoked turns the whole mountainside into a killing field of falling stone.
