The Cleric is the hand of faith and the party's lifeline. Where the Wizard ends fights, the Cleric is the reason there is anyone left to win them - mending wounds, blessing the failing, warding against harm, holding back the dark that presses on body and soul alike, and, on the rarest and gravest of occasions, calling a fallen companion back from death itself. They draw the full measure of the Radiant Flame, the deepest divine art the Reach knows, and they alone can keep a party whole through a long descent into the dark. They lean toward the Light as a flower leans toward the sun. A party without a Cleric is a party counting its remaining days.
