The Spellblade

The Spellblade is the arcane warrior, the mirror to the Paladin's holy one. They fight in armor and weave a measure of the arcane through the fight itself - enchanting the blade to bite deeper, throwing a quick bolt, wrapping themselves in a shimmer of defense, all without breaking stride. They are never the Wizard's equal at the deep arts, and they have made their peace with that; the Spellblade's strength is not depth but fusion, magic and steel braided into one fighting whole. Of all the callings it is the Dragonkin who take to it most naturally, the wyrm-blood marriage of arm and mind finding its perfect shape in the Spellblade's art.
