The Veteran is the Warrior who has survived long enough to become genuinely dangerous: a hardened, scarred fighter who has seen many battles and learned the lessons that killed those around them. Better armed, better armored, and far more difficult to shake than a common soldier, Veterans form the steel core of any line worth the name, steadying the green troops around them and refusing to break when lesser fighters would run. A party that wants to shatter an enemy company learns to find and fell the Veterans first.
