The Ruby of the Crown

The Ruby of the Crown is one of the seven jewels of the Obsidian Crown, the regalia of the old kings, lost and scattered in the breaking of the world at the Cataclysm. Where the seven came to rest, none can say. The Ruby is the stone of force and the shock of impact: a bearer who carries it strikes with terrible strength, splitting armour and ward alike. Its curse is that same force loosed beyond control - a rage that does not care where it falls, so that a bearer armed with the Ruby may strike down friend as readily as foe.
