The Divine

Where the arcane draws on the structure of the world, the divine draws on the heavens - and here the Reach's troubles begin, for there is more than one body in its sky. Divine power is not one thing but three, depending on which light the worker turns to: the warm Living Sun, the lightless Dark Sun, or the Pale Sister who reflects them both. The Cathedral teaches that only the Radiant working of the Living Sun is true and clean, and names the rest corruption. The truth the scholars whisper is stranger: all three are real, all three answer, and the difference between a blessing and an abomination may be only which light a soul has chosen to face.
