Ghost

A Ghost is no walking corpse but a lingering spirit - the soul of one who died with such grief, rage, or unfinished purpose that it could not pass on, bound now to the place of its dying. They are rare and deeply unsettling, for a Ghost is not mindless: it remembers, it wants, it grieves, and it lashes out at the living who disturb its haunt with a cold that bypasses armor and strikes straight at the heart. Some can be laid to rest by answering the wrong that holds them; others know only their anguish, and must be driven off by force, or fled. A Ghost is a wound in a place, not a beast to be hunted.
