Cloud Giant

The Cloud Giant is the most aloof and least understood of the giant-kin, dwelling on the highest peaks and, the old tales insist, in halls built upon the clouds themselves. They are proud, noble in their cold way, and far cleverer than their lowland cousins, keeping to themselves above the thin air where few mortals can follow. A party rarely meets one by accident; when it does, the encounter turns as much on courtesy and wit as on steel, for a Cloud Giant may as easily test a visitor with riddles as crush them - and is more than capable of either.
