The Monk
Person
The Monk follows the hardest road of all the callings: to make of the unarmed, unarmored body a weapon equal to any blade. It is a discipline before it is a fighting art, and it does not reward the hasty - a young Monk is a fragile thing, easily hurt, slow to come into power. But the Monk who endures becomes something the Reach has few answers for: a figure who strikes many times in the space another strikes once, who slips blows like water, who can put a foe on the ground senseless with a single placed strike. Armor would break the art, and so the Monk goes without it, trusting to discipline where others trust to steel.
