The Grave Wight is a Wight whose will has grown vast in the centuries of dark, a barrow-lord that does not merely guard its own bones but commands a whole tomb of lesser risen dead, bending the crypt's every skeleton and shade to the defense of its long sleep. These are the rare horrors at the heart of the oldest and greatest barrows, and they are as much rulers as monsters - cold, proud, and patient, holding court over the dead as they did in some forgotten life over the living. To reach the treasures of such a tomb, a party must unseat a king who has had centuries to prepare his hall.
