Skeletal Knight

Where the common raised Skeleton is a brittle, mindless thing, the Skeletal Knight is something worse: the risen bones of a true warrior, raised with enough power that the skill of its living years rose with it. It stands in the rusted remnants of its armor and fights with the discipline of the soldier it once was - parrying, pressing, choosing its blows - a far cry from the flailing of lesser bones. To raise such a thing takes real and terrible magic, and so a Skeletal Knight is rarely met by chance; it is the deliberate work of a Necromancer of some power, or the guardian a dark working left to keep a place no one was meant to reach.
