Giant Lizard

The Giant Lizard is a monitor grown monstrous, the length of a horse and twice as ill-tempered, found basking on the warm rocks of the southern reaches and the desert margins. It is no clever hunter, but it does not need to be: it is fast over short distances, armored in tough hide, and possessed of a bite that crushes and a tail that breaks bone. Some of the hill-folk break and ride them, a practice the rest of the Reach considers proof of madness.
