Ice Wolf

The Ice Wolf is the wolf of the high cold, the white packs that haunt the snows of the Frostspire Mountains, all but invisible against the drifts until they are close enough to spring. There is something of the mountain's own chill in them: their bite carries a deathly cold that stiffens the wound and slows the blood, and the packs use it as the common wolf uses numbers, harrying a victim into the snow and waiting for the cold and the wounds together to do their work. They are beautiful, and they are merciless.
