The Bard is the voice of the party, and in a world built on a buried mystery, the voice is no small thing. Their songs are a power all their own - not drawn from sun or structure but from craft and breath, renewing themselves with each fight, heartening friends and unstringing foes at no cost but the singing. Off the field their gift is subtler and just as valuable: a silver tongue that loosens prices, opens doors, and shakes rumors loose from close-mouthed folk who would tell a Fighter nothing. Where another party learns the truth by kicking in a door, a party with a Bard is often simply told. They are the calling that gathers what others must wrest.
