The Lorekeeper's Tome

The Blue Dragon is the wyrm of the dry country and the open desert, proud and territorial, ruling vast stretches of waste from a lair beneath the dunes. Its breath is a lance of raw lightning, a searing bolt that strikes faster than any eye can follow and leaves the air reeking of storm. Blue Dragons are vain and methodical, fond of toying with intruders, herding them with bursts of lightning across the open ground where there is no cover and no escape. They are master ambushers of the desert, burrowing beneath the sand to erupt beneath the unwary, and few who cross their territory uninvited cross back.
