The Lorekeeper's Tome

The Goblin Archer skulks at the back of the warband with a crude shortbow, loosing into the press from cover and scampering away the moment anything looks at it crossly. A single goblin archer is a poor shot and less of a threat. A dozen of them on a ledge above a corridor, all loosing at once, turn a simple advance into a storm of crude arrows, and the warband's leaders know it - which is why they always seem to have a few.
