Fire Elemental

The Fire Elemental is living flame given shape and will: a roaring, shifting spirit of pure fire, drawn into the world through the thin places near the fire-mountains or summoned by those reckless enough to call one. It ignites whatever it touches and leaves only ash, and water is one of the few things that gives it pause. It has no malice as men understand it, only an elemental hunger to burn, which is small comfort to anything in its path. They are most common in the volcanic deep, where the boundary between the world and the realm of fire wears thin.
