Creature
The Ooze is one of the dungeon-delver's quiet nightmares: a creeping, mindless mass of living acidic slime that flows along the floors and walls of the deep places, dissolving whatever it touches - flesh, leather, wood, and given time, metal. It has no eyes and no cunning, only a slow chemical hunger, and it is most dangerous to the careless, who brush against what they took for a damp patch on the wall and find their weapon-hand burning. Fire and patience deal with them; haste and inattention feed them.
