Water Elemental

The Water Elemental is a living surge of water, a spirit of the deep places where sea and river run strong, rising up as a towering wave with purpose behind it. It drowns and batters, sweeping the unwary off their feet and dragging them under, and a blade does it no harm at all - one cannot cut water. They gather where great bodies of water meet the thin places of the world, and sailors of the Island Seas tell of waves that rose against the wind and reached for the deck with something very like hands.
