The Watchtower above Brindleford has been a ruin longer than anyone in the town can name. Once it watched the southern roads; now it watches nothing, its upper floors fallen in, its lower halls and cellars open to whatever has crept in over the years. The party's first true descent is here. Somewhere in its dark the Mercury Point waits - the first of the Seven, and the thread that pulls the whole tapestry loose.
