Wraith
Creature
The Wraith is the dread lord of the rare undead places: a tall, robed figure of solid shadow and killing cold, a death-spirit of such power that lesser undead gather and bow to it. Where a Ghost is bound by grief and a Specter by hatred, the Wraith is bound by will - a malice so concentrated it has outlasted the body entirely and learned to act with terrible purpose. Its touch drains the life from the living in great cold draughts, feeding the dark thing it has become, and it wields the lesser dead around it as a captain wields soldiers. To find a Wraith is to find a place the dark has thoroughly claimed.
